TEHRAN – Iranian singer Behzad Mirlu has released songs from Sari Galin, a collection of Azerbaijani folk music, in an album entitled “Sari Galin”.

The album has been published by Avay-e Janan Art and Cultural Institute in Tehran.

The album contains twelve songs composed by Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Fikret Amirov, Tofig Guliyev, Rauf Hajibayov and several other prominent Azerbaijani musicians.

The album features Shahriar Sediq on tar, Afshin Alavi on Kamancheh, Behruz Barzegar on piano, Reza Nabahat on naqareh and Mohammad Sabokdasti on garmon.

In addition, a collection of music videos with Persian subtitles of the songs on the album was released on Saturday. 

A DVD containing the music videos of some of the songs is also offered with the album at music stores.
