TEHRAN – The head of Iran’s Election Headquarters has said that the upcoming presidential election’s process will begin on May 12.

Election process in Iran includes preparation groundwork such as identifying polling stations, preparing ballots and boxes, assigning overseeing teams, etc.

Ali Asqar Ahmadi, who was speaking to the IRIB on Sunday, also said that the council election process will begin on March 20.

According to the official, the mid-term Majlis election process will start on February 26.
