“Wishbone” nominated for best film at U.S. festival

TEHRAN – Iranian director Ali Atshani’s drama “Wishbone” is among the nominees for the best film award at the Wind International Film Festival, which will be held in Los Angeles from February 23 to 25.
The film, which is based on a true story, is about a married football coach who meets his ex-girlfriend after a long time. The girl, who was one of his fans, enters his life again.
Other contenders for best film award are “The Last Fitness Instructor” by Michele Williams, “Two Zions” by Cheryl Halpern, “The Jim Holocaust” by Jacob Hayek and “Among Us” by Joss Gomez, all from the U.S.
