TEHRAN – The Front of Followers of the Line of the Imam and the Leader has expressed its “unconditional” support for the newly established Popular Front of Islamic Revolution Forces, Tasnim news agency reported.

The two groups are coalitions of principlist political groups that share that seek a similar goal in the upcoming elections.

The Popular Front of Islamic Revolution Forces has pledged to become the main rival for Hassan Rouhani in the May presidential election; it intends to introduce a single candidate from conservative camp as its umbrella organization.
