TEHRAN – The Iranian ambassador to Moscow has underlined hard efforts being made by Tehran, Moscow and Ankara to settle the problems in Syria, expressing optimism about the end of conflict in the war-torn country.
“Partnership of Tehran, Moscow and Ankara to resolve the crisis in Syria politically, including the initiative to hold Syrian-Syrian talks (last month) in Astana, Kazakhstan's capital, has resulted in positive developments,” Mehdi Sanayee said in an interview with Russia's Vesti FM radio on Monday night.
