Persepolis head coach Branko Ivankovic believes that the 3-0 win against Tractor Sazi was a big step toward the Iran Professional League title.

“It was a beautiful game and a great win for us. I’m so happy after this win because Tractor Sazi is a strong team and also our main rival in the league. For us it was a 4-point game and also a big step towards the IPL title,” Branko told reporters in the post-match press conference.
“I’m totally satisfied with my player’s performance. Nothing has finished yet as we have still 10 unfinished missions and we will focus on our next match. Our goal is to win the league title, we will make every effort to achieve it and make our fans happy,” Branko added.
On the other side Tractor Sazi head coach Amir Ghalenoei stated that Persepolis deserved the win as they were the better side of the game.
“I would like to congratulate Persepolis players, coaches and fans. They were the better side in the majority of the game. Despite this defeat and the big blow of the transfer market ban, we will fight until the end of the season,” Ghalenoei told reporters.
Persepolis beat Tractor Sazi 3-0 in the 20th week of IPL at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on Sunday.
