TEHRAN – The IRGC Ground Force started military exercises in the western parts of Iran on Monday, its commander said.

“The military drills code-named Imam Ali (AS) started today and will last for four days,” Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said, Tasnim reported.

He said improvement of military capabilities of the IRGC Ground Force and development of new methods of warfare are among the main objectives of the exercises.
