ICCIMA head appointed as SRCIC’s vice chairman
TEHRAN- Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) has been appointed as the vice chairman of Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC).
As IRNA reported on Friday, World Commerce Chamber (WCF) elected Gholam-Hossein Shafeie as the new SRCIC vice chairman.
The SRCIC is an international, non-governmental organization that aims to promote the renaissance of the Silk Road trade and culture. It was founded to answer the calls to develop the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and a “21st Century Maritime Silk Road” (the Belt and Road) with joint efforts. The Belt and Road are two major initiatives that China has announced to advance trade and investment. In the initiative, SRCIC serves as an advocate for the Belt and Road and look to advance its members’ growth and prosperity by offering trade and investment opportunities.
In addition to the endeavor in trade and investment development, cultural exchanges, membership services and membership development, SRCIC offers unique opportunities for its members to forge cooperation with ministries and departments of the governments within Silk Road Economic Belt.
