TEHRAN – The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Baqeri, has sent New Year messages to his foreign counterparts, wishing a year of peace and justice for the world. 

“I hope that we no longer witness terrorism, war and aggressors’ oppression, and crime in the world in the New Year,” he said. 
“I ask from God peace and justice, and wish Your Excellencies and your armed forces well-being and prosperity,” part of the message read.
