TEHRAN – Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base said on Friday that its anti-craft forces had shot down an unmanned aircraft in downtown Tehran.
In a statement on Friday, the air defense base said the drone had entered a no-fly zone without coordination, Fars reported.
After looking into the issue, the downed drone appeared to have been a quadcopter operated by a film crew shooting aerial footage for a documentary, it added.
