TEHRAN – Iranian art collector Saeideh Abshenasan plans to auction 100 paintings of her collection to raise funds for children with immunodeficiency diseases, ISNA reported on Saturday.

Immunodeficiency disorders prevent the body from fighting infections and diseases.

The auction will be held in Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Historical Palace on December 16.

A number of artists, art collectors and foreign diplomats are expected to attend the auction.
