‘Iran-China economic ties have increased in post-sanctions time’

TEHRAN – Iran’s deputy foreign minister for Asia and Pacific affairs said on Sunday that Iran’s economic relations with China has expanded in the post-sanctions era, referring to China as Iran’s first trade partner.
Ebrahim Rahimpour said Iran will never cut off its relations with China since the two countries have some common interests, Mehr reported.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he said the 5+1 states are against the renewal of anti-Tehran sanctions by the U.S. Congress.
