KNVB president Michael van Praag to visit Iran
President of the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) Michael van Praag will travel to Tehran to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Iranian football federation.
Former president of Iran Football Federation Ali Kaffashian – now vice president- had a meeting with van Praag in September and two parties had talked about signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the the meeting.
Michael van Praag will be accompanied by Johan van Geijn, who is head of international Assistance programs in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean at the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB).
Iran U-23 football team had held a training camp in the Netherlands in September ahead of the AFC U-23 Championships.
The Iranian football federation has already signed MoU with Italy, the UAE, Japan, Norway and Belarus federations.
