Iran-China trade at above $22b in 9 months: report

TEHRAN - China’s trade with Iran stood at $22.12 billion in the first three quarters of 2016, Tasnim news agency reported on Tuesday.

According to the published report, recording a 17 percent decrease, the value of trade between the two countries shrank to $22.12 billion from $26.6 billion in the same period in 2015.
China’s exports to Iran from January to September 2016 stood at $11.52 billion, showing a 16 percent drop from $13.7 billion in the same time span in the preceding year.
Iran’s exports to China during the said period dropped to $10.6 billion, showing an 18 percent drop from $12.9 billion in the same length of time in 2015.
