‘Iran, Iraq cooperating to ensure security of Arbaeen pilgrims’

TEHRAN – Iran’s border police chief says Tehran is in constant interaction with Iraq to ensure the security of pilgrims flocking to the Arab country to visit the shrine of Imam Hussein (AS), the third Shiite Imam, to mark Arbaeen.
Speaking to the Tasnim on Monday, Qassem Rezaei underlined that the Iranian and Iraqi border police have recently held a meeting to coordinate efforts for controlling borders and establishing a sustainable security in the border areas.
