NIOC, Tatneft sign MOU on oilfield development studies

TEHRAN – National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Russia’s PJSC Tatneft signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for conducting study on development of Iran’s Dehloran oilfield, NIOC’s official website reported on Saturday.

According to the report, the MOU was signed by Ali Kardor, the managing director of NIOC, and Nail Ulfatovich Maganov, the general director of Tatneft, on Saturday.
In the MOU which is the first contract between NIOC and the Russian company, increasing of the Dehloran oilfield’s recovery factor has been emphasized.
Located 22 kilometers southwest of Iran’s western city of Dehloran, the oilfield is under the supervision of Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC).
