Interior minister meets Azeri president

TEHRAN - Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli met with Azeri President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on Monday.

Rahmani Fazli called for cooperation in fight against terrorism, drug trafficking and cyber crime.

The Azeri president said terrorism is a threat that has been imposed against the region from outside and called for cooperation and unity in countering it.

Aliyev also said that Azerbaijan is ready to expand relations with Iran.

Rahmani Fazli arrived in Baku on Monday on a two-day visit. He was scheduled to meet with some other Azeri officials.
