Reza Dormishian on Warsaw Film Festival jury

TEHRAN -- Reza Dormishian, the Iranian director of acclaimed movies “I’m Not Angry” and “Lanturi”, has been selected as a jury member at the 32nd Warsaw Film Festival, the organizers announced on Thursday.

He will join the jury for the Competition 1-2, which will screen first and second films by directors from all over the world.

Dormishian was an assistant to some prestigious Iranian filmmakers, including Dariush Mehrjui and Alireza Davudnejad. He started his directorial career in 2002 making short films and documentaries.
 
The jury also includes Polish producer Iza Igel and the U.S.-based Mexican director Rafael Palaccio Illingworth.

The festival is scheduled to be held from October 7 to 16.
