TEHRAN – Iran’s Armed Forces will stage military parades across the country next week to commemorate the Sacred Defense Week, which marks the anniversary of the onset of the Iraqi war on Iran 36 years ago.

While the most impressive ceremony is expected to be held in Tehran, at the mausoleum of the late Imam Khomeini, the IRGC has also arranged a large-scale parade in the Persian Gulf port city of Bandar Abbas, Tasnim reported on Wednesday.
