Iranian economic delegation to tour 6 Latin American countries soon

TEHRAN- An Iranian economic delegation will soon travel to six Latin American countries namely Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Chile, and Bolivia to discuss enhancement of different economic, trade, and investment ties besides diplomatic ones, ISNA reported on Friday.

As reported, being comprised of some Iranian trade officials and also those from the private sector, the delegation seeks development of bilateral ties with each of the named countries via thoroughly exploitation of each side’s capacities.
Iran is also aimed at making joint investments with each of the said countries in a third country on the way to have a share in other Latin American markets. 
To guarantee its access to third countries’ markets, the Islamic Republic’s relation with each of the six countries is defined differently from the other ones, regarding their available resources and potentials.
Besides imports of foodstuff including meat and some grains as well as exports of nuts, carpets, pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and technical and engineering services, Iran targets entering a new chapter of its relation with Latin Americans.
