Tehran, Cairo can help reduce regional tensions: advisor

TEHRAN – A special aide to Iran’s parliament speaker has said Iran and Egypt could help reduce tensions in the region by boosting their mutual cooperation.

Through close cooperation on regional issues Iran and Egypt can prove effective in reducing tensions in the region, Hossein Amir Abdollahian said during a meeting on Tuesday with Khaled Ammare, the head of the Egyptian interests section in Tehran, Mehr reported.
