TEHRAN – Ramadan Abdullah, secretary general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, has appreciated Iran for supporting the Palestinian nation against Israel.
"Iran’s support for Palestine and the Palestinian nation is vital and determining,” Abdullah said in a meeting with Iranian Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Chairman Alaeddin Boroujerdi in Beirut on Tuesday, Fars reported.
During the meeting, Boroujerdi and Abdullah underlined the need for the liberation of all Palestinian territories from the Israeli occupation.
In an indirect reference to Saudi Arabia, the two sides also condemned normalization of relations between alleged supporters of the Palestinian people and Israel.
