TEHRAN – A Persian version of Belarusian investigative journalist Svetlana Alexievich’s “Zinky Boys” has recently been published by Negah Publications in Tehran.

Translated by Abolfazl Allahdadi, the book is about Soviet soldiers who engaged in a devastating war in Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989.

Alexievich won the 2015 Nobel Prize in Literature.
