TEHRAN – U.S. writer Megan Whalen Turner’s “The Queen of Attolia” has recently been published in Persian by Tehran-based Aamout Publications.
The young adults’ fantasy novel is set in a Byzantine-like imaginary landscape, reminiscent of ancient Greece and other territories around the Mediterranean. The story takes place in the ancient countries of Eddis, Attolia and Sounis.
The book rendered into Persian by Roya Behnam is the second novel of Turner’s series, which began with “The Thief” in 1996.
“The King of Attolia” and “A Conspiracy of Kings” are the third and forth books of the series.
