TEHRAN – The Iranian president has said the government will take a tough-on policy on luxurious salaries.

The government is not tongue-tied for apologizing when it realizes it has made a mistake, Rouhani said on Friday, Iran daily newspaper reported.

In relevant remarks, Majlis Deputy Speaker Masoud Pezeshkian said Rouhani still has time to make up for the scandal.
