Sepahan football club has completed the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Lee Oliveira from Portuguese side Academica on a one-year deal on Wednesday.

Former Esteghlal Khuzestan coach, who led his team to last season’s Iran Professional League title thanks to the brilliant performance by Brazilian goalkeeper Fernando de Jesus Ribeiro, did the same this season and brought another Brazilian goalkeeper for his new team.

Lee Oliviera made his debut for Brasileiro Serie A in June 2010 against Gremio. He made a name for himself when he saved Neymar penalty in the game against Santos.

The 28-year-old keeper then moved to Atletico Mineiro to team up with Ronaldinho. In July 2014, Lee moved abroad, signing a three-year contract with Academica in Portugal.
Sepahan, who finished in 11th place last season, is eager to return to glory days with Veisi in charge.
