TEHRAN – A documentary on the life of Persian poet Abbas Yamini-Sharif(1919-1989)entitled “Children’s Songwriter” will go on screen at the Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC) this evening.

Directed by Hooman Zarif, the 75-minute documentary also gives a brief history of children’s literature in modern Iran.

Critics Nasser Saffarian and Omid Ruhani will review the film after the screening at the DEFC, which is located at 15 Shahid Qandi Sq., North Sohrevardi Ave.
