TEHRAN – Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah said on March 29 that all countries, including Iran, have right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
The emir, who was speaking at the Arab League summit in Baghdad, called on Iran to cooperate constructively with the International Atomic Energy Agency and make efforts to resolve any questions surrounding its nuclear program.
“We want Iran to have constructive cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and make efforts to help resolve its nuclear issue, but using nuclear energy is a right of Iran and all countries,” the Kuwaiti leader stated according to a translation of his remarks.
