Intl. Foodstuff, Agricultural Machinery Exhibition to Open

TEHRAN The sixth international foodstuff and agricultural machinery (Iran-agrofood) with the participation of domestic and international companies will be held in Tehran. The public relations department of the Export Promotion Center of Iran (EPCI) announced here Tuesday that 351 companies from Germany, Italy, France, South Africa, the UAE, Taiwan, Turkey, China, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Canada, the Netherlands, Syria, England, Kuwait, and Iran will participate in the exhibition.
The exhibition's goal is to showcase existing capabilities in agricultural machinery and foodstuffs, establishing communication channels between the domestic and foreign traders, upgrading production capacity, and familiarizing Iranian researchers, producers and exporters with the latest scientific and industrial developments in the participating countries. Also citrus fruits products, chicken farming and animal husbandry machinery, variety of sweets, concentrated food, soft-drinks, chemical laboratory and quality control equipment, diary products and machinery, food industry design-service products will also be put on display.
The exhibition will be held from May 18-21 at Tehran International Trade Fair. (IRNA)
