TEHRAN – 70 countries will attend an international conference on the Palestinian Intifada which will open in Tehran on October 1.

Hossein Sheikh ol-Eslam, secretary of the international conference, told reporters on Tuesday that parliament speakers from 14 countries including Tanzania, Algeria, Lebanon, Qatar, Iraq, Syria, Comoros Islands, and Paraguay will attend the meeting.

For the first time in 1991 the Iranian parliament passed a law for supporting the Palestinian intifada.
