TEHRAN -- Kamancheh virtuoso Kayhan Kalhor plans to perform in his homeland during May and June after the end of his tours of Europe and the United States.

He will give his performances at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on May 23, 24, 30, 31 and June 1, Kalhor’s program manager, Mohammad-Hossein Tutunchian, said in a press release on Sunday.

Kalhor has previously performed with various ensembles and orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, and renowned vocalists like Mohammadreza Shajarian and Shahram Nazeri.
