Iran will take part at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup with eight participants in Rio de Janeiro.

The competition will double as a combined leg of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup series in which rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines will be contested.

The Olympic Shooting Centre, located inside the Deodoro Park, one of three venue clusters for the Games, will host 15 finals beginning April 16 with the men's 10m air rife kicking off the race for the medals.

The competition has brought a total of 661 athletes from 88 countries together.
