TEHRAN - Saudi Arabia should be faithful to the least of human rights regarding the freedom of speech, the Iranian vice president for legal affairs has said.

Condemning the execution of Sheikh Nimr by Saudi Arabia, Elham Aminzadeh said Saudi Arabia occupies a seat in the UN Human Rights Council and is expected of more than what it does, Mehr reported on Sunday.

She also regretted international silence over Saudis’ crimes and said if the international community had spoken out against Saudi Arabia for its crimes in Yemen, the Saudi family would not have committed the recent execution.
