Tehran, Moscow to boost banking ties

MOSCOW – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Amir Mansour Borqe’i and Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Russian Federation Victor Melnikov held a meeting here on Thursday.
During the meeting the two sides discussed boosting banking ties between the two countries, IRNA reported.Borqe’i also held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexei Borodavkin on Thursday.
During their meeting they discussed certain issues on the international agenda, and the topical aspects of Russian-Iranian bilateral cooperation.
Borqe’i has visited Russia to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
