TEHRAN The first workshop of scientific management and flood control, soil erosion and land slide will be held in Tehran December 12, 1998 for 10 days by joint cooperation of Ministry of Construction Jihad (MCJ) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The workshop, to be held at the Government Management Training Center, aim to promote mutual cooperation between MCJ and JICA. During the 10 days, five Japanese experts will transfer Japan's applied sciences and expertise in flood, erosion, land slide and river engineering subjects to 100 Iranian engineers.
