Serbian, Bolivian ambassadors meet Mottaki

TEHRAN – Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki held separate talks with the new Serbian and Bolivian ambassadors to Tehran.
During his meeting with Serbian Ambassador Alexander Tacik, Mottaki stated the intervention of foreign forces is the root cause of the problems in the Balkans.“Unfortunately, some countries are still seeking to create problems in the Balkan region,” he added.
Serbia’s new ambassador to Tehran called Iran an influential player in the Middle East and central Asia and called for expansion of ties with the Islamic Republic.
Mottai also met Bolivia’s new ambassador to Tehran Miranda Loaisiga on Wednesday.
At the meeting Loaisiga submitted his credentials to the Iranian foreign minister.
“The independence of the Bolivian nation and government in their decision about their internal affairs and also with regard to their foreign relations is commendable,” Mottaki said.
The Bolivian ambassador to Tehran, for his part, said his country could take advantage of Iran’s invaluable experiences in different fields.
He also called for Iran’s assistance in exploitation of natural resources in Bolivia
