TEHRAN -- Mir-Hossein Mousavi will most likely start his provincial campaign tours before the start of the Iranian New Year which starts March 21, a campaign director said on Saturday.

However, Ahmad Mahmoud Rabati, said a timetable of the provincial tours will be released to the public.
Rabati said Mousavi will first start his tour of less developed provinces.
In a statement issued on March 10, Mousavi officially announced his candidacy for the June presidential election.
Mousavi was prime minister from 1981 to 1989, when Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was president. He was the last prime minister of Iran before the change in the Constitution which removed the post of prime minister
