Iran takes part in Nanotech 2009

TOKYO – Iran participated in the International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference (Nanotech 2009) from February 18 to 20 at Tokyo Big Sight fairgrounds.
Iran Nano-Business Network (INBN) had seven pavilions in which Iranian companies showcased their products in the fields of antibacterials, nano metal oxides, polymers, and nano composites, IRNA reported.The fair was attended by 480 companies from 21 countries like Iran, Australia, U.S.A., Britain, Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and South Korea.
Now in its eighth year, the exhibition has grown to be a global center of nano business and research. It embraces some of the world’s most cerebrated companies as well as newcomers, universities and governments’ labs across the world.
It provides opportunities for not only direct sales, but also co-development partnership, technical application, and innovative ideas.
The conference also hosted a special seminar on Green Nanotechnology, highlighting what cutting edge technology can do for the future environment.
Last year’s event was attended by almost 50,000 people from 24 countries
