TEHRAN – The secretary of the 8th International Conference on Coasts, Ports and Marine Structures (ICOPMAS) announced here on Tuesday that the conference will be held on November 24-26, 2008 with the motto of “Regional Cooperation for Sustainable Development of the Persian Gulf”.

Talking to ISNA, Alireza Kebriaee said that the objective of the biennial event is to prepare the grounds for exchanging the latest scientific achievements, experiences and innovations in the sector.
Ports and coastal engineering, coastal management, offshore engineering, pipelines, naval security, and sea ecology will be the topics of the conference, the official noted.
