ANKARA Iran's Ambassador to Ankara Mohammad-Hossein Lavassani here Wednesday hand delivered to speaker of Turkey's National Assembly Hekmat Cetin an invitation by the speaker of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly Ali-Akbar Nateq Nouri. The Turkish official appreciated the invitation by the Iranian official and observed that the two neighboring countries should strive to improve their relations to the optimum level. The Iranian ambassador hoped that the visit to Tehran of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Turkey would activate a parliamentary friendship group of Iran and Turkey. (IRNA)
