TEHRAN (IRNA) -- President Mahmud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that the country's rural population are good support in the fight against arrogant powers.

President made the remarks while speaking to villagers in Golestan province on Wednesday.
The government and officials will powerfully deal with bullying and arrogant powers relying on the support of the country's rural population.
Iranian youths have attained significant achievements in the field of nuclear technology, he said, adding, “If bullying powers continue their animosity towards Iran, it will have no impact but encourage them to continue their course with greater strength.”
Iranians are a big united family who have tolerated all types of pressures on the country's nuclear activities and will not yield even one iota (of its rights), said the president.
“You can find no one in Iran willing to give up nuclear technology,” he said.
“If one nation crosses the red lines drawn out by big powers, the hegemony of bullying powers will be demolished,” he said adding, “That is why the bullying powers have firmly stood against us and initiated the imposed war, issues of human rights as well as nuclear issues to exert further pressure on the Iranian people.”
President Ahmadinejad arrived in Gorgan on Wednesday along with his cabinet -- the second such visit to the province.
While in the province, the president will inspect a number of provincial development projects, meet families of martyrs and hold separate meetings with provincial clerics and scholars.
