MPs Mohammad-Taqi Rahbar, Abbas-Ali Akhtar, and Hassan Abbasi held talks with Chinese Deputy Culture Minister Chan Kejen.
The two sides also called for exchanging professors and students, developing cultural centers, and doing art and cultural activities in both states.
Teaching Persian and Chinese languages at universities was also discussed at the meeting.
Kejen, for his part, assured that further efforts will help expand bilateral relations.
Rahbar opined that cultural ties will help develop economic ties, as well.
