TEHRAN – Iran’s crude oil exports in the past Iranian year ending March 20 hit over $44 billion, noted an official at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) on Tuesday.

The country exported about 2,400,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil last year, Hojjatollah Ghanimifard told the Persian service of Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA).

The official stated, oil swap with the Caspian Sea littoral states in the past year, stood at about 71,000 bpd (the equal amount of the crude oil received at Iran’s northern port city of Bandar-e Neka was delivered at the nation’s southern export terminals).

Also in the same period, oil products worth $6,900,000 million were exported from the country. They included fuel oil, gas condensates, diesel oil, naphtha, kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and fuel for ships.
