Iran's Exclusive Exhibit to Open in Shanghai

BEIJING - Iran's first ever exclusive exhibition is to open in Shanghai, southern China, on May 27. The Iranian Consul General to Shanghai, Ahmad Masoumi-Far told IRNA correspondent on Saturday that the exhibition is aimed at introducing Iran's economic, trade and industrial potentials. The exhibition will also familiarize Iranian traders with the Chinese market, he added. Industrial, mineral, petrochemical and textile products as well as handicrafts, furniture, foodstuff and dried fruits will be among items which will be displayed during the one-week exhibition, Masoumi-Far said.

Shanghai, the biggest economic, financial, trade and industrial center in China, is currently importing foodstuff as well as prtrochemical, mineral and metal products from the Islamic Republic. (IRNA)
