‘Apple festival’ showcases Maragheh's flourishing tourism, economy

The city of Maragheh, northwestern East Azarbaijan province, hosted the 12th edition of a festival dedicated to its well-known and high-quality apple varieties, aiming to publicize the role of agriculture in boosting local and regional tourism and economy. Held from October 22-24, the festival attracted officials, farmers, tourists, and other interested people to apple orchards on the outskirts of the city.
