Iran to take delivery of its 2nd Airbus jet today

TEHRAN – Iran Air, the flag carrier airline of Iran, announced on Friday that the second Airbus jet of its purchased airplanes will enter Mehrabad Airport on Saturday.
According to a report by IRNA, the 330-200 Airbus is to leave Toulouse-Blagnac Airport in France for Iran to land at 8.30 A.M. in Tehran.
The first plane, Airbus A321 that Iran has purchased from the European aviation giant Airbus landed in Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport on Jan. 12, 2017.
During a visit by President Hassan Rouhani to Paris in January 2016, Iran provisionally ordered 118 Airbus jets worth $27 billion.
