Papermaking up 32% in a year

TEHRAN- Papermaking in Iran rose 32 percent to 770,000 tons in the past Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20) from its previous year, according to an official with the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade.
Mohammad-Ali Esfandiari, the deputy director of chemical industries office of the ministry, also said that packaging paper making hit 540,000 tons in the past year, with 60 percent rise from its preceding year, and also 100,000 tons of the product were exported.
