TEHRAN – A group of Iranian lawmakers have prepared a motion to impeach Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi.

Hossein-Ali Haji, a lawmaker, said on Sunday the MPs will submit the motion to the parliament’s presiding board, Mehr reported.

A sufficient number of lawmakers have endorsed the motion to be proposed at the parliament.

One case of the impeachment is the minister’s failure to implement a bill passed by the Supreme Council for Cultural Revolution.
