TEHRAN – Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds will be the venue for the 12th international exhibition on medical and dentistry equipment (Iran Med) and the 3rd exhibition on laboratorial equipment (Iran Lab) during June 11 to 14, 2009.

Seventy firms from Turkey, China, Slovakia, Germany, the U.S., Britain, Jordan, and Malaysia will directly take part in the show, while representatives from some 120 foreign companies are also expected to participate in the fair to display their latest products and achievements, Moj News Agency reported.
Iran exported medical and laboratorial equipment to the tune of $8 million and $60 million, respectively, in the last Iranian calendar year (ended March 20,2009), reported IRNA.
Iran Med is Iran’s most prestigious medical exhibition, which has become a key event for the medical and health care community.
About 35,000 professionals including administrators, directors, doctors, deans and procurement managers of public and private hospitals will visit the 630 domestic and international companies taking part in the show in around 40,000 square meters of exhibition space.
Iran Med will serve as a platform for medical suppliers, industry owners, hospital administrators, physicians, and other entities active in the healthcare sector to exchange views for the promotion of the related industries.
