Iranian wrestler wins gold medal in Hungary

c_250_165_16777215_0___images_stories_pics_august01_02_13_13-3.jpgIranian wrestler Hatam Aliakbarzadeh claimed the gold medal in the FILA Cadet World Championships at Szombathely, Hungary on Wednesday. 

The 85kg class wrestler defeated  Aslan Bibulatov from Russia in the final match and won a gold medal. Russian Parviz Akhundov and Sam Brooks from the U.S. claimed the bronze medal jointly.

Iran’s Hassan Yazdani lost to Russian Gadzhimurad Rashidov and claimed the silver medal in the 50kg. Rinya Nakamura from Japan and Indian Teja Devi Singh Thakur won the bronze medal jointly.

In 58kg class, Prahlad Singh Ashish from India beat Russian Guseyn Shakhbano and  won the gold. Bronze medal went to Iran’s Peyman Yarahmadi and Elchin Mammadov from Azerbaijan jointly.

The FILA Cadet World Championships has brought the wrestlers from 40 countries together in Hungary.
